normally this would be locked to only dibblers and legends (you guys have more lore to this story via the free tune I dropped) but I figured why not let EVERYONE get a taste of what dibblers and legends get on the monthly!
so if you saw the post for the free tune "Whistle While You Murk", you can recall me talking about Snake Pillage Radio - the monthly live stream where only the best of the best local DJs could have a chance to showcase what they got. wellllll, I was invited back (a couple times) and lucky for you guys, we have ONE recording still up on YouTube!
STARTS AT 1:32:00 - This mix was done exactly 13 years ago today on July 12th, 2011, back when I was 100% mixing on my Launchpad in Traktor using a custom mapping I programmed (lights too) The host, Satta Don Dada, gave me that green piece of foam my launchpad is on which leveled up my setup game 10 fold. I used to just put my launchpad anywhere I could find a flat surface (its difficult with a ton of other DJ gear on small tables) and he was the one who showed me the power of foam and how you can put it anywhere! I rocked that green square until I made the switch to CDJs in 2013. I also brought my friend, radchainey, who's posted up on the couch enjoying the tunes in the back lol shout out rad!Β
